CHOOSE YOUR WAY IN

MK9 by Lauta — Mortal Kombardo 9

Unofficial PS Vita-based browser project. The original site documents WebAssembly, WebGPU, PC-only play, streamed assets, local saves and two-browser Ad Hoc versus. It advertises all DLC and Kratos; this directory has not verified every mode or character. On 30 October 2026 we inspected the FAQ, controls and changelog, started the client and reached its opening screens in desktop Chrome. A complete match, online connection and save export/import have not been tested. The hosted loader did not ask for a separate game-file upload.

Your guide to the browser game: Mortal Kombat 9

Mortal Kombat 9 in your browser: what is Mortal Kombardo 9?

This Mortal Kombat 9 browser entry opens Lauta’s project at mk9.lauta.site, where the page calls itself Mortal Kombardo 9. It adapts the PlayStation Vita version of MK9 to run locally on a computer using WebAssembly and WebGPU. The original Vita release dates to 2012; the browser project’s changelog lists its initial release on 25 October 2026.

MK9 is a fighting game built around close-range attacks, blocking, combos and character-specific special moves. The host advertises the complete game with all DLC and Kratos, alongside single-player play and online versus. Those are upstream claims, rather than a completed content audit. This is an independent, unofficial project with no affiliation to Warner Bros. Games or NetherRealm Studios.

Where to play MK9 online: the Lauta site

Use the project button above to open mk9.lauta.site directly, then press Play and let the client start. If you found the game by searching MK9 Lauta or mk9lauta, this is that destination. The creator’s name is Lauta; searches spelling it “Laura” refer to a different spelling, not the linked domain.

The game runs in your browser rather than through a cloud video stream. Its loader retrieves data in pieces as fighters and arenas are needed, so browser access still involves downloading assets. The checked hosted route did not request a separate game-file upload. This directory links to the project and does not distribute the game client or its commercial assets.

MK9 keyboard controls and gamepad setup

The checked default keyboard layout uses WASD or the arrow keys for movement. U or J is front punch, I is back punch, K is front kick and L is back kick. O or Space throws; P or left Shift blocks. Enter is Start/pause, and Backspace is Select. Open Controls → Keyboard to inspect or change bindings before a fight.

The site also documents Xbox and PlayStation gamepads. Connect a controller and press a button so the page can detect it, then check the live Controls panel. The PlayStation face-button layout is Square for front punch, Triangle for back punch, Cross for front kick and Circle for back kick. Controller recognition and remapping were reviewed in the interface; physical controller play has not been tested here.

How Mortal Kombat 9 online rooms work

The host’s instructions describe Ad Hoc versus between two browsers. Open Play online, create a room and send its link or room code to a friend. After both players connect, enter Versus → Ad Hoc 1 vs 1 inside the game. The room interface also offers joining by code and a private-room option.

Both computers run their own game client. Room connectivity, ping and input delay can affect a match even when the single-player client starts correctly. We reviewed the room workflow and changelog but did not connect two players or complete an online fight. This listing does not promise compatibility with original console servers or native PC multiplayer.

Mortal Kombat 9 navegador: PC and browser requirements

Looking for “Mortal Kombat 9 navegador”? Lauta’s current FAQ describes a PC browser version with keyboard or gamepad input. Use an updated desktop Chrome, Edge, Opera or Brave with WebGPU available and graphics acceleration enabled. The host also lists Firefox 153 or newer; that path has not been tested by this directory. The site currently describes the game as PC only, so this entry does not mark it as mobile compatible.

For stuttering or a black picture, try the host’s Low graphics preset, close demanding tabs and allow new fighter or arena downloads to finish. A fast connection does not replace a compatible graphics device. On 30 October 2026 our desktop Chrome check started the client and displayed opening screens; that limited check does not establish sustained frame rates or a complete playthrough.

Local saves, backups and downloads

The project says progress is saved in the current browser. Settings → Saves offers a ZIP export and import workflow for moving a save to another browser. Export a backup before clearing the site’s storage or switching computers; this directory does not synchronize your progress. Save persistence and a full export/import round trip have not been independently verified.

The site presents the project as non-profit and without ads. Its hosted access does not establish a licence to redistribute Mortal Kombat assets. Follow the destination’s current instructions for available content and requirements, since the web project can change after this listing’s review.
