Open the original site directly. Its login screen offers Play as Guest with no account required and an optional Windows download. On 30 October 2026 we inspected the login screen and reached the town lobby in desktop Chrome, then checked the nine-class panel and Controls menu. We did not complete a match or test mobile play, account recovery or the Windows app. The tested browser client used WebGL 2; a separate WoW installation or manual game-file import was not requested.

## What is Arena of Champions?

Arena of Champions is a fan-made WoW arena game that runs in a browser. It brings class-based PvP into a standalone setting with a shared town, heroes, abilities and arena queues. The Warcraft-style characters and scenery give it a familiar look, but this is an independent fan project, not an official World of Warcraft release or the full WoW MMO.

The hero panel we checked listed Warrior, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Hunter, Paladin, Warlock, Druid and Shaman. Each displayed a specialization and a spell-and-talent menu. Arena ratings were shown for 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. Check the current in-game menus for available queues and balance changes; the listing does not promise that every bracket is active at all times.

## Where to play the WoW arena browser game

Use the original browser game button above to open arenaofchampions.live. After the client loads, choose Play as Guest on the login screen. The screen explicitly says no account is needed and offers a separate sign-in option. The town lobby lets you inspect heroes and locate the Arena Battlemaster. Use the game’s current queue interface when you are ready for PvP.

The original site also offers Download for Windows. That is an optional client, not a requirement for browser access, and we have not tested it. This directory links to the original game rather than hosting its client or embedding the game. Arena of Champions is separate from WebWoW PvP and Azeroth Survivors, which have their own gameplay and requirements.

## How to play: heroes, controls and targeting

Start by choosing a hero in the Heroes panel and reading its abilities through Spells & Talents. Use Settings to open Controls and Key Bindings before joining an arena. The checked Controls screen describes left-button dragging to look around and right-button dragging to turn your hero. Tab targets the nearest enemy, and Shift with an action key casts at your focus. Follow the current bindings for movement and the action bar.

Practice selecting targets and reading your ability bar in the town before queuing. Online PvP depends on both your inputs and your connection, so check the displayed latency before committing to a match. We reached the lobby and inspected these menus; we did not finish an arena match or verify competitive balance.

## Browser requirements and game files

Use a desktop or laptop with a keyboard, mouse and an internet connection. Our desktop Chrome session rendered through WebGL 2. That tested path did not require WebGPU, and it did not ask us to upload MPQ files or install World of Warcraft. Allow the initial client download to finish: the page can show only Loading before the game appears.

Mobile play has not been verified by this directory. A page opening on a phone does not establish that its targeting, keyboard shortcuts or arena controls are usable. The Windows app is an alternative offered by the original site; our browser test does not establish its compatibility or performance.

## Loading problems and high ping

If the game remains on Loading, allow the first download to complete and check your connection. If it reports Failed to start or a WebAssembly CompileError, try an updated desktop browser with graphics acceleration available. These are troubleshooting steps, not a guarantee for every graphics device or browser.

If the town loads but movement or abilities respond slowly, check the ping shown by the game. Our connection varied around 300–460 ms, and an in-game message suggested the Windows app for browser lag. We have not verified that switching clients improves latency; server distance, load and your network can still affect online matches.

## Is Arena of Champions free, and is it official WoW?

The checked site offered browser guest access without a purchase or account, alongside optional sign-in and support controls. It is not an official Blizzard game. World of Warcraft, Warcraft and the associated names and artwork belong to their respective owners; this listing does not claim a licence for the fan project.

This entry was checked on 30 October 2026. The screenshots show the original game, and our test reached the town lobby. A first release date and verified creator attribution were not established, so the directory leaves those details unknown. Current player counts and queue sizes can change and are not presented here as audited popularity statistics.
